There are no non-stop flights between Los Angeles to Bangkok! You only have a connecting flight option via at least one stopover. When you want to fly out from Los Angeles to Bangkok, you will be departing from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and will be arriving at one of the two international airports in Bangkok: Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) or Don Mueang International Airport (DMK).

You will be flying between LAX to BKK via a stopover and most flights from LAX will fly via China or South Korea. The majority of international flights will be landing at Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) which has four terminals and is Thailand’s busiest airport.

How to get to / from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)

The most effective way to reach Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) from downtown Los Angeles is using a combination of a train and a Flyaway Bus. First take a train to L.A Union Station from downtown Los Angeles and then hop on the Flyaway bus to reach Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

Cheapest way to get to Bangkok city from Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK)

The quickest and easiest way to reach the city center of Bangkok from BKK is taking the Airport Train at Suvarnabhumi station to reach Phaya Thai Interchange station in downtown Bangkok. From Phaya Thai you can take a Skytrain to get around the Bangkok city.

The most popular time to fly is July and this is the time when Bangkok gets highly crowded with international tourists, expect your boarding and lodging to be expensive in this peak month. To beat the crowds and to leverage cheaper airfares between LAX and BKK you can choose to fly in October.

I recommend these airlines: Air China, China Eastern, Hong Kong Airlines and Japan Airlines for leveraging best airfares between LAX and BKK. Shop your tickets at least 3 months in advance for even better and lower fares!
