You will be finding plenty of cheap international flights from Newark to Paris operating on a daily basis by major airlines. When you are flying out from Newark to a new country or a continent outside America you can choose to fly out from either of the three international airports that are in close proximity to each other: John F Kennedy International Airport (IATA code JFK) located in Queens of New York City, LaGuardia Airport (IATA code LGA) located in Queens of New York City and Newark’s very own Newark Liberty International Airport (IATA code EWR). Paris, France is served by two international airports: Roissy Charles de Gaulle (IATA code CDG) and Paris Orly Airport (IATA code ORY). ORY is located closer to the city center of Paris but both the airports are well connected to the city via an extensive network of public transportation.

Choosing the best flight route between Newark and Paris

JFK to CDG is the most popular and most preferred flight route between both these destinations. You will find a majority of non-stop flights across this route and even price-wise they work out cheaper. New York City (JFK) is not too far away from Newark and it may be wiser to book a flight from JFK to Paris because of the lowest airfare advantage over the other flight routes from Newark: EWR to CDG and EWR to ORY. Choose to fly out from LaGuardia (LGA) if you are looking for a connecting flight with a layover / stopover option and you will most likely not find any non-stop flights from LGA to Paris. Sometimes a connecting flight option may workout cheaper but you will have to compromise on the longer flight travel time.

Best time to fly to Paris, France

Paris can be best enjoyed during the shoulder seasons of spring (March to May) and fall (September to November) when the weather is hot enough for sightseeing and the airfares and accommodation are reasonably priced than in the peak season. The peak season for tourism in Paris is during summer that runs from June to August when the weather is hot, during this peak time the city is flooded with a lot of tourists but on the down side the airfares and accommodation are likely to be the most expensive. The cheapest time to fly to Paris is during the months of December, January and February when it is winter time and there aren’t too many tourists in the city. Regardless of the time you fly always book your hotel and air tickets at least 3 months in advance in order to leverage the lowest costs.
